Robo Co-opメンバーが国連難民高等弁務官と面会
Robo Co-opのメンバーであるLianが、公式訪日中の国連難民高等弁務官、Barham Salih博士（Dr. Barham Salih）と面会する機会を得ました。
ミャンマー出身のLianは、マレーシアで10年以上にわたり難民として生活した後、2017年に日本へ定住しました。その後、大学に進学し、学士号と修士号を取得。難民の社会的包摂と経済的自立を推進する活動に継続して取り組んできました。
現在、LianはRobo Co-opの一員として、難民や社会的に十分な機会を得られていない人々のデジタル分野および経済活動への参画を促進するために活動しています。
Robo Co-opは、難民の方々が自立を実現するだけでなく、社会に貢献し、リーダーとして活躍できる機会の創出に取り組んでいます。
AIやデジタルスキルのリスキリング、実践的なITプロジェクト、そして学んだ人が次の人材を育成する「Train-the-Trainer（指導者育成）」モデルを通じて、持続可能な経済的自立への道筋を築くことを目指しています。
Lianの歩みは、教育や機会へのアクセスが、難民の方々の自立を後押しし、社会の一員として積極的に活躍するとともに、他の人々にも新たな機会を生み出す力になることを示しています。
私たちは、難民のエンパワーメントに向けたLianさんの継続的な取り組みを誇りに思うとともに、世界のリーダーたちとの対話の場に難民当事者の視点を届ける機会が得られたことに、心から感謝しています。

Our member, Lian, had the opportunity to meet Dr. Barham Salih, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, during his official visit to Japan.
Originally from Myanmar, Lian spent over a decade as a refugee in Malaysia before resettling in Japan in 2017. Since then, she has pursued higher education, earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and has continued advocating for refugee inclusion and self-reliance.
Today, Lian works with Robo Co-op to advance digital and economic inclusion for refugees and other underrepresented communities.
At Robo Co-op, remain committed to creating opportunities for refugees not only to achieve self-reliance, but also to contribute and lead.
Through AI and digital reskilling, real-world IT projects, and our train-the-trainer model, we aim to create sustainable pathways toward economic self-reliance.
Lian’s journey shows how access to education and opportunities can empower refugees to achieve self-reliance, become active members of the society, and create opportunities for others.
We are proud of her continued commitment to refugee empowerment and grateful for the opportunity to bring refugee perspectives into conversations with global leaders.
