海士町 AI実装・共創プロジェクト」の一環として、Robo Co-opメンバーのDim が、Forward Deployed Engineer（FDE）として1年間海士町に滞在します。住民のみなさんや地域の関係者、交流プログラム参加者の方々と日々関わりながら、現場で出てくるアイデアや課題を、実際のAI活用につなげていきます。 

Dimは日々の現場での実装をリードし、地域での対話を支え、課題を見つけ出し、それらを実用的なAIソリューションへとつなげていきます。 

また、Founder & CEOの金 辰泰も定期的に海士町を訪れ、戦略面での支援やチームへのメンタリング、地域や行政に向けたAI活用のアドバイスを行っています。 

この「現地実装」と「戦略支援」を組み合わせたモデルにより、私たちは議論から実行へと確実に移行していきます。 

今後1年間は、地域主導のイノベーションの新しいモデルの基盤づくりに注力していきます。

We’re excited to share that Robo Co-op’s work with Ama Town (海士町) has now moved fully on the ground. 

As part of the Ama Town AI Implementation & Co-Creation Project, our member Dim is now based in Ama Town for a full year as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), working closely with residents, local stakeholders, and exchange program participants to turn ideas into real, AI-driven solutions. 

Dim is leading the day-to-day implementation on the island, supporting community dialogue, identifying local challenges, and connecting them to practical AI solutions. 

At the same time, our Founder & CEO Jintae Kim is supporting the project through regular visits, providing strategic guidance, mentoring teams, and advising AI implementation at both the community and leadership levels. 

Together, this on-the-ground + strategic support model enables us to move from discussion to execution. 

Over the coming year, the work will focus on building the foundation for a new model of community-driven innovation: 

• ▫hands-on AI support and consultation
  ▫regular trainings and office hours
  ▫monthly co-creation workshops 
  ▫quarterly AI hackathons 
  ▫turning local voices into real implementation 

Starting from a small island community, we aim to help build a model of digital democracy that is locally grounded and globally relevant.
