2026年1月23日、Robo Co-opはGlobal Impact Sourcing Consortium（GISC）とともに、ニューヨークにて「インパクト・ソーシングと難民の経済的包摂」をテーマとするクローズド・ラウンドテーブルを開催しました。 

本ラウンドテーブルは、AIによる急速な労働市場の変革、地政学的分断の拡大、さらにEU企業持続可能性デューデリジェンス指令（CSDDD）などの新たな規制枠組みの登場という時代背景の中で企画されたものです。
政策、研究、国連機関、民間セクターのシニアリーダーが一堂に会し、包摂的かつデジタル化されたサプライチェーンが、難民の経済的包摂をどのように前進させると同時に、企業のレジリエンス強化やコンプライアンス対応に寄与し得るかを議論しました。

◆主な論点
中心的なテーマの一つは、「AIがもたらす最大のリスクは“破壊”ではなく“排除”である」という共通認識でした。
登壇者は、意図的な介入がなければ、AI移行期において難民がさらに周縁化され、デジタル格差や言語格差を通じて既存の不平等が一層深刻化する可能性があると指摘されました。 

参加者は、こうした課題への対応策として、以下の取り組みについて議論しました。 

• ▫デジタル・インパクトソーシング 

• ▫AIを活用した学習モデル 

• ▫リモートワークを前提とした就労モデル 

具体的には、スキル開発と言語アクセスを統合すること、移動制約を克服すること、そして難民がグローバル・バリューチェーンに実質的に参画できる環境を整備することの重要性が確認されました。
議論を通じて、難民は受動的な支援対象ではなく、経済的パートナーであり、システムレベルのイノベーションに貢献する主体として位置づけられました。 

◆本ラウンドテーブルの意義
本ラウンドテーブルを通じて、 難民の経済的包摂がもはや人道政策の周辺的課題ではなく、労働力戦略、サプライチェーンのデューデリジェンス、そして長期的な経済の安定性にとって中核的なテーマとなりつつあることを改めて確認する機会となりました。

On January 23, 2026, Robo Co-op, together with the Global Impact Sourcing Consortium (GISC), hosted a closed-door roundtable in New York on Impact Sourcing and Refugee Economic Inclusion. 

The roundtable was convened at a time of rapid AI-driven workforce transformation, growing geopolitical fragmentation, and the emergence of new regulatory frameworks such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). It brought together senior leaders from policy, research, the UN system, and the private sector to examine how inclusive, digital supply chains can advance refugee economic inclusion while also strengthening business resilience and compliance.

◆Main Points of Discussion

A central theme was the shared recognition that the greatest risk posed by AI is not disruption, but exclusion. Speakers emphasized that without intentional intervention, refugees risk being further marginalized by the AI transition, deepening existing inequalities through new digital and language-based divides. 

Participants discussed how digital impact sourcing, AI-enabled learning, and remote work models can help address these risks—by integrating skills development with language access, overcoming mobility constraints, and enabling refugees to contribute meaningfully to global value chains. Throughout the discussion, refugees were consistently framed as economic partners and contributors to system-level innovation, rather than passive beneficiaries. 

The roundtable reinforced that refugee economic inclusion is no longer peripheral to humanitarian policy. It is increasingly central to workforce strategy, supply-chain due diligence, and long-term economic stability.
