Robo Co-op Participates in the 1st Japan GRF Network Meeting to Strengthen Refugee Support
On September 11, 2024, Robo Co-op took part in the 1st Japan Global Refugee Forum (GRF) Network Meeting, co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UNHCR Tokyo Office. The event was held at the United Nations University Annex Space in Tokyo.
The meeting gathered representatives from various sectors, including civil society, private companies, faith-based organizations, and refugee-led groups. Progress on over 40 pledges for refugee support in Japan was reported, a figure that is seven times greater than the pledges made at the 1st GRF in 2019. This reflects the expanding efforts to support refugees in Japan, with the country serving as co-chair of the GRF until 2027.
